what does the ministry look like?

Well, you can check out the deeper issues that drive us if you go to the vision portion of the site, but as far as the meetings are concerned, we have basically three different types of gatherings.

the pivot meeting

This meeting brings everyone together for corporate worship, preaching, ministry times, and fellowship (with free pizza and drinks!), and it happens the third Sunday night of each month. We have pre-service prayer at 6:15pm. The meeting begins with a brief time of fellowship and interaction, then corporate worship starts at 7:15pm.

the pivot small groups

In addition to our larger gathering, we have small groups (8-12 people) for the purpose of encouraging each other, building meaningful friendships, and discussing the messages we’re hearing so that we can apply God’s Word to our lives. Anyone wanting to plug in to a small groups may simply email us to express interest and we'll let you know where the groups are meeting. Our small groups are a great environment for people who want to grow in Christian maturity and get more involved in the relational aspects of our ministry and life together.

fun stuff

Throughout the year, we plan other things that give us a chance to hang out, have fun, compete, and make some wacked out memories. Sometimes this kind of thing happens within the small groups, but we also get together for things like Bonko nights, canoe trips, college ministry conferences (road trips!), Pivot retreats, luaus, picnics, volleyball tournies, and other stuff.
