what’s up with the name

Life is a series of transitions. People talk about this or that ‘chapter’ of life. But, a uniquely important transitional moment is the one in which, as the Apostle said, “… when I became a man, I put away childish things.” These transitional years of stepping into adulthood often have critical significance for the rest of our lives. For many people, decisions on matters as weighty as marriage, vocation, or where they will live will be ventured into during this stage of life. Beyond that, the avalanche of secular worldviews seems to gain momentum as we step into the zone of life > 18.

These are some of the realities that we face as we live life in The Pivot. So, we come together to learn, to grow, and to encourage each other as we face these realities and as we seek to crank the volume of God’s glory while walking through life in The Pivot!
